Commemorating John Lennon

Whether you thought of him as a drugged-out hippie-guru wannabe, a naive but well-intentioned idealist, or a sage for our times doing tikkun olam through his music and life-philosophy, it's inarguable that John Lennon's musical legacy both with the Beatles and as a solo artist, has left a cultural mark on Western culture.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of his death, having been murdered in front of his New York apartment just after his 40th birthday.
