And The Dreidel Will RAWK!!

It's a tradition every year here in Toronto (and I presume in many other major radio markets around North America where there is a large, vibrant Jewish community) where the city's preeminent classic rock station devotes a day or two to playing songs by Jewish rockers (or band's with a Jewish member).

This weekend, Q107 (107.1 on the FM dial in the Greater Toronto Area), is programming its "And the Dreidel Will Rock" list. so, if you're  in the GTA and like your classic rock with some kosher flavouring, expect to hear much Van Halen (David Lee Roth), Rush (Geddy Lee), KISS (Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley) and Dire Straits (Mark Knopfler) among many others.

Here's how the radio station's been playfully playing up the upcoming weekend rotation:

This weekend The Mighty Q wishes you Happy Hanukkah!
When you light the menorah.. remember we’re Burnin’ For You!
We’re dedicating an entire weekend to Rockers with Jewish heritage!
Chag samayach everyone.- Blintzkrieg
