A little Jewish on your dial

This post comes out of a discovery made from @RickRecht's twitter profile. If the name is not familiar to you Rick Recht is a Jewish rock musician, especially known for his live performances in front of groups of youth all over the United States as well as performances at synagogues and Jewish rock festivals. Recht and his band tour nationwide, delivering about 150 performances a year. The real story here though is the link he shared for Jewish Rock Radio.

The site's mission is to strengthen Jewish identity and the connection to it in Jewish youth and young adults by utilizing the power of music to attract, inspire, entertain, and educate.

Musicians featured range from popular reform recording artists like Noam Katz and Josh Nelson to top concert sellers Matisyahu, Israeli groups like Idan Raichel, Hadag Nachash and Beit Ha'Bubot. Other emerging artists one can sample tracks from come from the likes of SoCalled and Toronto born Allan Goodis.

To chill with a lyrical fusion of Jewish styles this site comes highly recommended.
