Adam Levine named sexiest man alive by People magazine

We've known for a long time that the tribe has some sexy members, but now People magazine has confirmed it, too, naming Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as this year's sexiest man alive.

"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," he told People. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

The magazine said yoga and spinning is the secret to the 34-year-old's fit body.

Unfortunately for any of our female readers, Levine's taken. He became engaged to his Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo this past July.

The Grammy Award-winning musician has found fame outside of his band, especially as a judge on The Voice. This year marked another milestone for Levine with the release of his first feature film, Can a Song Save a Life?, in which he starred alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Levine is the first Jew to hold the "sexiest man alive" title. Harrison Ford was the first Jew to win the title in 1998.

No, stop repeating Entertainment Weekly's lies. Levine is not the first Jew. Harrison Ford (1998) was. Ford's mother was 100% Jewish. Levine's maternal grandmother wasn't even Jewish. I've seen no evidence that Levine was raised any more Jewish than Ford, or that he identifies as Jewish any more than Ford does.

Oh, I missed that. Thank you for pointing it out. I've edited the post.
