It
was announced last night that Geddy Lee, the Jewish front man of the rock band
Rush will be making a cameo appearance on the CBS hit show How I Met Your Mother in an
upcoming Canadian-themed episode.
Alex
Trebek, k.d. lang, Alan Thicke and Paul Shaffer will also appear with Lee to
show off their Canadian pride.
Hopefully,
the episode won’t be too corny and filled with Canadian stereotypes, such as our
penchant for maple syrup and saying “Eh,” but even if it is, it will be nice to
see a Jewish face representing Canada.
