Beer drinkers flocking to Israel's microbreweries

Israel is not just for wine drinkers anymore. If you prefer a nice brew to a glass of red, you're in luck.

Over the last couple of years,  Israel has gone from zero microbreweries to more than 20, and the beer drinking culture in the Holy Land is growing just as quickly.

If your taste is too refined for the Israeli staples of Goldstar and Maccabee, Israel's boutique microbreweries, producing less than 5, 000 litres of beer a year, might be the right place for you to grab your next pint.

Israel-focused news website Israel21c just released a list of the top 10 microbreweries in what may soon be the land of beer and honey.  We'll give you the  top 10 here, but check out the expanded list for all the frothy details.

Top 10 Israeli Microbreweries:
1. Dancing Camel
2. Jem's Beer Factory
3. Alexander
4. LiBira
5. Malka
6. Yochai Kudler
7. Katzrin
8. Salara
9. Art-Bar
10. Shapiro
