Kulanu With Israel

Though recent news events have obscured the occasion, thousands in Toronto's Israel supporters turned out for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto's annual Walk With Israel celebration on Sunday May 30.

Included in that number were 10 members of Kulanu Toronto, the city's main Jewish organization representing its LGBT community.

Kulanu's executive director, Justine Apple, told Heebonics it was the first time her group marched in the event and that all members had an "uplifting" experience.

Congrats to the marchers and to supporters who helped make Team Kulanu's inaugural Walk With Israel a happy one.
