Get BAC... to fashion (for a cause!)

Heebonics readers looking for a fun, fashionable event to attend in Toronto this evening would do well to check out the Birthright Israel Alumni Committee Charity Fashion Show - aka BAC2FASHION -  taking place tonight at the 6 Degrees Club  (2335 Yonge Street)

Here's how the BAC folks describe the shindig. And keep in mind, it's all for a very, very good cause.

BAC2FASHION was founded by two Birthright Israel alumni in 2008. Inspired by our Birthright Israel experience, we feel a strong desire to give back to the Jewish community. BAC2FASHION was born from a vision to showcase our talent and encourage our peers to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Our production team involves over 50 committee members and performers dedicated to the show and our cause.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to UJA of Greater Toronto to support their seniors initiatives in Toronto. Many of us have been privileged to share wonderful relationships with our grandparents. They are our teachers, our role models and our heroes. We feel deeply connected to our cause and look forward to giving back to a generation who has given so much to us.

This year’s theme, The Remix, showcases how today’s fashion, music and dance have been influenced by previous generations. Old is truly the new new.
