GILAD: 3 YEARS AND COUNTING

FREE GILAD. FREE GILAD. FREE GILAD.

Today marks exactly three years since Gilad Schalit was kidnapped by Hamas. He's been held in seclusion ever since. No one has been allowed to check on his health, or even to confirm if he is still alive. His family waits, as an agonizing, interminable cycle of political gamesmanship continues to play out over when their son/brother/grandson will be released.

Noam Schalit, Gilad's dad, has been the face of his son's struggle since day one.

We continue to pray for his release. God only knows what mental and physical anguish he's had to endure. May he be freed to walk into the arms of his waiting parents soon.

Read Noam's thoughts in today's Ha'aretz.
