Miley Cyrus to twerk it in the Holy Land

Of late, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West or Rob Ford have often been the subjects of the most shocking news.

But most weeks, Miley Cyrus can be included on that list, too.

Generally, I'm in favour of hearing about a musical artist or performer scheduling a concert B'Eretz Yisrael. But word from JTA that Cyrus is looking to book a date in the Holy Land is one I have to wonder about.

While there are still details to iron out, Miley is tentatively set to bring her now jaw-dropping performances to the Holy Land in June. After Rihanna's Tel Aviv extravaganza last summer, do you think the Middle East is ready for the twerking queen?
