The NBA champion Miami Heat is hosting a Jewish heritage night and Chanukah party on Dec. 12 at American Airlines Arena.
Chabad of South Florida is organizing the event, which will feature the Heat playing the Golden State Warrriors.
There will be activities related to Chanukah and Judaism taking place throughout the game, such as the lighting of a chanukiyah between first and second quarters and a half-time performance by singer Yossi Bayles.
It’s great to see Chanukah and Judaism being celebrated around the world, and especially when a world famous basketball team is involved!
