Comedian and actor Billy Crystal has plans to release a memoir in 2013. The funnyman is turning 65 next year, and he felt the timing was right to reflect on his long career in show biz.
After the success of his one-man theatre play 700 Sundays, Crystal is considering turning the memoir into a stage show as well.
The book is still untitled, but Crystal is planning to divide it according to the decades of his life. After counting through his 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s, Crystal joked to the American Press, "that's a lot of decades."
In addition to the upcoming memoir, Crystal is working on a film with Bette Midler called Parental Guidance. The pair will play grandparents, and the storyline is based on Crystal's own experiences with his grandchildren.
