The Shalev family from Petah Tikvah are about to embark on an important journey. Filmmaker dad Amit, teacher-mom Yael and kids Odelia, Albi, and Naomi will be taking a caravan from Tel Aviv south to Eilat, north to the Golan and finally to Jerusalem, making plenty of stops along the way.Their goal is to film the "mosaic" of modern Israeli life, interviewing people from different religions and with different lifestyles to get a full picture of Israel in 2012.
The Shalev family plans to post daily short videos chronicling their journey, as well as a few longer ones, where they will reflect on the people they've met and the things they've learned. Everything will be available on the family's Facebook page.
