R.I.P. Harvey Korman

To fans of a certain vintage, Harvey Korman represented one of America's funniest comedic straight men. His celebrated characterizations on The Carol Burnett show - where he and fellow cast member Tim Conway occasionally tried to crack each other up during live sketches - as well as his scene-stealing appearances in the Mel Brooks' classics "Blazing Saddles" and "High Anxiety" were the stuff of comedic legend.

Korman died last night at the age of 81 due to complications from an aortic aneurism. You can read the full obit here.

I'll always remember his portrayal of the character Hedley Lamarr from Blazing Saddles. Goodbye Hedey... "That's HEDLEY!"... oops my mistake. You'll be missed.

Oh, what the heck, here's another one (I couldn't resist...)
