Stan Lee gets animated in new superhero trilogy

A group of comic-book superheroes is getting its own animated movie trilogy with the help of some famous voices.

At the centre of the cartoon, Stan Lee's Mighty 7 (SLAM 7), is the comic legend himself in his first-ever starring role. Lee plays a fictional version of himself who mentors a team of superheroes, whom he also uses as inspiration for his comic books.

The voice cast includes Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea.

Last week's announcement of the new project also came with a trailer. Watch it below, and tell us what you think!
