Funnyman Andy Samberg announced that he will not be returning to Saturday Night Live next season. He has been a part of the legendary sketch comedy show since 2005 and is best-known for popularizing the SNL digital shorts - funny videos that he produced mainly with his comedy trio The Lonely Island.
In just a few days, Samberg's latest movie "That's My Boy," a comedy starring him and Adam Sandler, will be released. Samberg told The New York Times that he simply felt the time had come for him to move on from SNL.
