Israel asking for #justoneminute at the Olympics

At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, 11 Israeli athletes and coaches were brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists. Now, on the fortieth anniversary of this tragedy, the Israeli government asked that a moment of silence be observed in memory of the slain athletes and coaches at the upcoming London games.

So far, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has refused to honour the request. Israel's deputy foreign minister Danny Ayalon is hoping to change that. He has launched the Just One Minute campaign, using social media to pressure the IOC to change their stance.
