Gilad Sharon talks Ariel Sharon in Toronto

Gilad Sharon, son of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, hits Toronto this Thursday to speak about his dad and his new book Sharon: The Life of a Leader.

The younger Sharon wrote his memoirs of growing up with the iconic Israeli soldier-turned-politician and the book is a real page-turner.

As you might know, Ariel succumbed to a stroke in 2006 and has been hospitalized and in a coma for most of the time since. Although, Gilad reports that recently his father is showing small signs of improvement.

Anyone even remotely interested in Ariel Sharon's life, Israel's survival and the dynamic world of Israeli politics, will likely want to hear his son speak about the inner workings of one of the Jewish state's foremost military strategists, politicians and statesmen.
