Taglit-Birthright to draw a crowd at #MEGATO

It has been just a little over 10 years now and Taglit-Birthright Israel has provided more than 200,000 Jewish young adults, ages 18 to 26, with the gift of first time, free, educational trips to Israel. The program was created to diminish the growing division between Israel and Jewish communities around the world; strengthen a sense of solidarity among world Jewry' and strengthen its participants' own identity and connection to the Jewish people.

In two weeks time, UJA's Community Connect, the Birthright Israel Alumni Community and Magen Boys Entertainment will mark the first decade of the program's existence with Birthright Canada's version of the popular celebratory "Mega Event." Attendees of Mega Event Toronto, which will take place at The Warehouse Event Venue (2-35 Carl Hall Road), will experience a strong taste of Israeli culture and a night of great entertainment with the Canadian DJ stylings of DJ Skratch Bastid from Montreal. Mega Event T.O. will also provide all those on site with the opportunity to win a free raffled-off trip to Israel courtesy of Air Canada.

The event promises to be the biggest Birthright reunion Toronto has ever seen, so don't delay and get your ticket today!

Advance tickets: $25 online here  - $30 at the door. Each ticket includes one free drink and entry into the Israel trip raffle.

Event sponsors - Magen Boys Entertainment, Air Canada, Fabricland and Nine West.
