Jazz singer Sophie Milman, who has made Canada her home since she immigrated to Toronto from Israel when she was 16, will be making her first visit to Israel since 1992.
Invited by the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University to promote the Institute of Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC), the 28-year-old Juno-award winning musician will be performing later this month at the annual Hebrew University Convocation during the Board of Governors meetings. She'll also perform at the Zappa Club in Hertzliya.
Check out this personal greeting from Milman posted on the IMRIC website.
