Sophie Milman rocks Zappa Club

Last night Canadian-Israeli jazz sensation Sophie Milman wowed her captive Israeli audience singing Jazz standards and pop songs with her sexy, smokey voice.

Addressing the packed Hertzilya club in Hebrew, 28-year-old Milman gushed about how happy she was to be back in Israel, where she lived until she was 16.

Singing in English, French, Hebrew and even Russian (she was born in Russia), Milman sang Ella Fitzgerald's Take Love Easy, a Hebrew version of Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World, and even surprised the crowd with covers of Joni Mitchell's Be Cool and Bruce Springsteen's I'm On Fire.

It was a fantastic show, and even more special that I got to see her perform in Israel!
