Experience Toronto's Shavuot nosh and learn...

The 3rd annual joint Tikkun Leil Shavuot - all-night learning festival Where Sinai Meets Spadina is set for tomorrow night at the Miles Nadal Bloor JCC (at the corner of Bloor and Spadina). Jews of all ages are encouraged to check out the event for an hour, perhaps two, or stay the whole night through. The event is organized by many organizations including the Annex Shul and Makom: Creative Downtown Judaism and Limmud Toronto, Congregation Darchei Noam, The Paul Penna Jewish Day School and others.

Whether your learning passion is Jewish theology, the mysticism of Kabalat Shabbat customs, the sociology of the modern Jewish family, ethics, philosophy or Jewish law, there are a variety of opportunities for learning.

What would a Jewish learn-a-thon be, of course, without kosher refreshments served all night long.
By morning's first light your mind, body and even your stomach, will be well satiated. Participants can make their own cheescake, holistic nutritionally conscious, gluten-free vegan blintzes and a wild, edible, wheatberry salad.
