Qassam explodes near Sderot kindergarten

In the area constantly on alert for rocket attacks, a kindergarten in a kibbutz within the Ashkelon region was struck by a Qassam rocket Tuesday morning. Dozens of parents were only just bringing their children to school.

The Qassam exploded at around 8 am, just seconds after the 'code red' siren was sounded. Residents rushed to take cover.
