Annex Shul celebrates 4 years

Located at the Wolfond Centre on the University of Toronto's campus, last Friday night the Annex Shul celebrated its 4th anniversary. It was a stunning turnout as 200-plus young Jews in their 20's and 30's gathered to participate in the shul's bi-weekly shabbat affair, this time turned massive festivity.

The night started much as the bi-weekly shabbos event typically does, with a Carlebach-inspired Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by the sit down dinner. The difference this time was that the event was standing room only in the Beit Midrash.

Once the dinner concluded, a candy and soda (for our American readers) and pop (for our Canadian readers) bar opened up. At that point one could say the en masse shmoozing commenced.
