Fans of The Beastie Boys got a huge shock today when founding member, Adam "MCA" Yauch, released a public video message to stating that he's dealing with saliva gland cancer and the band's tour and forthcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee are being postponed as a result. Here's the vid:

OK, yeah, thank G-d it's not real, real bad news. I look at these I guys and I think, man, old friends. How important is it to "make new friends, and keep the old". Especially in these situations, one is "Silver" and the other is "Gold"-- literally sometimes, right!!?
