Larry David in - "Whatever Works"

Now playing in theatres "Whatever Works", writer and director Woody Allen's next entry into cinematic history. It stars co-creator of "Seinfeld" and the creator-star of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," 61-year-old Larry David. With a bitter humor cringe-inducing realism, David plays Boris Yellnikoff, a retired, grouchy divorced physicist and self-proclaimed genius. A young runaway (Evan Rachel Wood) begs him for shelter, and gradually Boris' life changes — especially when her parents(Patricia Clarkson, Ed Begley Jr.) arrive. This is not the first time Woody Allen and Larry David have worked together, Allen had previously worked with David in two tiny parts seen in "Radio Days" and "New York Stories" respectively.

Billed as "Vintage Woody Allen...Jewish-American comedy comes full circle" by Brian D. Johnson of Macleans Magazine, "Watever Works" begins an exclusive engagement at the Varsity Theatry Friday June 19th. Check Tribute.ca for, showtimes.
