Out on the town for Reena

Held in the heart of Liberty Village the 5th annual Not Just Another Saturday Night (NJASN), met its target, attracting just over 500 young professionals from the greater Toronto area and Heebonics was there. Organized by the New Leadership Division of the Reena Foundation and hosted by the event’s chairs (Adam Heechowicz Dayna Bleeman and Zach Goldstein) and co-chairs, ( Paul Bleir, Esther Benarroch and Sheri Becker) at The Academy of Spherical Arts, the New Leadership Division raised $20 000 dollars for Reena.

The night was kick started with a charity poker tournament. All proceeds from the buy-ins, the re-buys and the add-ons went to improve the quality of life for individuals, mostly children, with developmental disabilities, whom the Reena Foundation serves.
From there the evening moved to cocktails, a charity raffle,
a silent auction featuring the works of Reena clients and the sale of jewelery and art by the likes of Jessica Gorlicky of Jessago.

The venue was packed with the city’s young people, schmoozing and dancing the night away; with live jazz entertainment and tracks spun by DJ Perry Gilman of Montreal.

Many showed their support for this worthy cause.
