Get out there and Mosh for Sderot!

Ok ok... lame headline. But still, if you're in Toronto this weekend and you want to check out a phenomenal talent from Israel, you'll no doubt want to see Mosh Ben Ari.

He's kicking off his first North American tour in Hogtown this Sunday, June 15 at the Mod Club (722 College Street). Not only will he bring his unique brand of Israeli roots/reggae/soul/funk/rock for the listening pleasure of the audience, but proceeds from the concert are being given to the citizens of Sderot in order to help them finance a reinforced Gymboree where children can play and parents can relax a little, knowing that Qassam rockets won't get through.

People, it's a VERY good cause being promoted by a talented, driven musician. Go check it out.

Learn more about Ben Ari at his Myspace website:

And if you can't make it out that night because of Father's Day, then be sure to catch Ben Ari the following evening at The House (469 Eglinton Ave. W.) in what's being billed as an "intimate and interactive" do with the singer. It's being sponsored by the Birthright Alumni Committee of Toronto. More info on this event here.
