D'OY!

The Simpsons Movie has finally arrived. In the words of Homer, "WOO HOO!!"

Sure, it's probably like, a decade overdue, but still... it's The Simpsons.

I won't get into all the previews/reviews here, but here's an interesting question for all us Simpsonites: is Professor Frink of the tribe? Wikipedia thinks so. Personally, I think he's a Yid.

And not just because he's voiced by the insanely talented Hank Azaria (who's also Jewish), but because his middle name is Nerdelbaum. Gotta be.

What do you think?

Hahaha.... Nerdelbaum.
My favourite Jewish Simpson's character is the old guy in the retirement home with the cane.

Hahaha! Yeah, that'd be Jasper. He's a hoot too. Best line of his, in my humble opinion? When he takes over as substitute teacher for Bart's classroom and has only one punishment for any offence... a paddlin'.

"Chewin' gum? That's a paddlin'. Talkin' out of turn? That's a paddlin'. Grabbin' the paddle? Ohhh... you better believe THAT'S a paddlin'." Heheheh.

Also note Professor Fink is based on Jerry Lewis's Nutty Professor, he himself played Professor Fink's father as the Wikipedia article mentions and of course Jerry also was born Jerry Levitch therefore by the law of 3's..coincidence..I think not!! Hoy!!

No, I wasn't talking about Jasper (please, as a die hard Simpson's fan, I know who Jasper is). There's an old bald guy with a brown shirt and a thick yiddish accent...

(Can ya granfadda do dis?!)

Apologies. Now I know who you mean, Crazy Old Guy (aka Old Jewish Guy). Yup, he's good too. Check out his "bio" over on Wikipedia. Enlightening stuff.

Lisa had a substitute teacher once whom she fell in love with. He was also Jewish, IIRC
